Common hearing aid styles
- Behind the ear
- The main part of the device sits behind your ear and connects to a piece inside the ear. These styles come in different sizes and designs.
- In the ear
- The device fits within the outer ear. Its size and shape depend on the style and your ear.
- In the canal
- Smaller devices sit partly or more fully inside the ear canal. Their small size can make handling and adjustment more difficult for some people.
